The presence of fairies in Middle Earth is widely recognized.

Our world is home to many companion beings, from faeries and angels to spirited plant guardians. To connect with their influence we only need to keep our curiosity and intuition open to the strange and unexpected.

Faeries work with purpose and take their role as caretakers of the earth seriously. The nature god Pan aids them in these efforts and acts as a human ally in protecting the planet. If you ever have the chance to meet Pan you may find him reflective and quick witted, which is something I hope happens for you. Pan, gentle yet resolute as a leader, directs the faery realm as they try to repair harm caused by intensive farming practices and the human search for oil, precious stones, and metals.

A quaint cottage garden will tend to attract favour with the faeries. They appreciate all types of plants but show a particular fondness for daisies, daffodils, tulips, grape hyacinth, dianthus, nasturtiums, umbelliferous plants such as carrot and dill, poppies, columbine, bleeding heart, and naturally, ferns and vines.

Once a small fairy found a large dandelion while collecting wishes. She chose to bring it home because it was too bulky to lift into flight. She turned down offers of help from the other fairies out of pride and self confidence. She did not realise that the wishes were returning all the way back. By the time she reached home all of the wishes had vanished. Saddened, she retraced her steps to recover them and along the way discovered who had acted on each wish.

Placing these fairies in your garden at will can invite additional faeries and otherworldly visitors.
